Systems & installation
- Most roofs do. What matters is the usable area, the direction it faces, the pitch, and how much shade falls on it during the day. We survey all four before quoting, so you get a system sized to your roof rather than a generic package.
- A typical home installation is one to two days on site once permits are approved. Larger commercial systems run longer and are scheduled in stages so your operations keep running.
- Yes. We prepare the permit applications, the utility interconnection request, and the sign off documentation. You approve the design, we deal with the rest.
- Only briefly, while the system is tied into your consumer unit. We agree that window with you in advance so it lands at a time that suits you.
Cost & savings
- It depends on system size, roof complexity, and whether you add battery storage. We quote a fixed price after the survey, itemised by panels, inverter, mounting, and labour, with no charges added later.
- Savings track how much of your own generation you use rather than draw from the grid. After the survey we model your actual consumption pattern and show a realistic annual figure, not a best case one.
- No. Panels alone offset the power you use during daylight hours. A battery lets you store the surplus for evenings and outages, which is worth it if most of your usage falls after dark.
- Yes, we can quote both outright purchase and financed options so you can compare the monthly cost against your current energy bill.
Service & aftercare
- Very little. Panels need occasional cleaning and an annual check of the mounting, wiring, and inverter performance. We offer that as a scheduled visit so nothing gets missed.
- Contact us and we diagnose the fault, on site if needed. Panels, inverters, and workmanship each carry their own warranty period, which we set out in writing with your quote.
- Yes. We take on maintenance, repairs, and panel replacements for existing installations, whoever fitted them.
